Late Night Realizations

Hehe heyyyy:) Welcome back to another weekly blog! I hope you all had a FAB Turkey Day! I can easily say it was not difficult to count at least 100 things I am thankful for hehe. I am incredibly blessed with people who bring out such happiness within me! This post, though, is pretty relatable I would say. If you have not experienced this before, I have to say wow!! Still feel free to read along:)

So to get things started up here, let me introduce you to what happened ha! Last night I just had a five hour long energy rush… feeling like I could not sleep and HAD to get anything and everything I could, DONE. I had such ambition, such DRIVE and motivation to do it right then and there. I took my melatonin for overthinking problems I have during the night, but it did anything but chill me out.

Truly, I have had nights like this before. My mind is so awake, full of creativity, restlessness, and jitters!!! During this, the best solution is to take advantage. Instead of laying in my own deep overthinking, I let my mind roam off to something productive. Writing is usually the best, because as I said, my mind is super creative during these crackhead energy nights haha. I’ve done anything from get up and turn all the lights on and dance my energy out, write pages on pages, have a cry session baha, clean and organize my whole bedroom, or even do homework that is due next month.

Physically, I might be tired. But my mind is just everywhere on nights like these, making me stay up for hours on end. These are some crazy, weird feelings I have! Sometimes I have more energy at 10 PM than I do at 10 AM… just bringing me to be wide awake when I should be sleeping. Getting up the next day is always interesting, feeling sleepy and tired for most of the day. It does screw me over sometimes, but I try and make up for it with a couple naps here n’ there haha! I found this on Pinterest and IMMEDIATELY KNEW this related to this situation ahaha.

To sum things up for you all today, nights like these are really not unusual. If you find yourself feeling like you have the energy to climb Mt. Everest at 12 AM…you are not alone ha! These nights used to happen more commonly for me, but it recently happened again and just HAD to rant about it. Ring that energy out in a smart way, a productive way.
